I'm flying into Orlando, how do I get to the hotel?
What are the dates of the trip?
Check in will be from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday May 8th. There will be designated check in times for each Group Number and Hotel. All this information will be emailed to you about 1 week prior to the trip. Check out will begin at 8am on Sunday May 13th.
Does the price of the trip include transportation?
No. Students are responsible for finding their own transportation to and from Daytona.
What is the best way to get down there?
While many students drive, the most popular way is to fly. The Orlando airport is a good alternative to the Daytona Beach airport as it is only about 1 hour away from Daytona Beach and often times you will find cheaper flights.
What does the cost of the trip include?
Price includes hotel stay and daily entertainment on the Plaza Ocean Shore pool deck. Free beverages will be offered from 1pm to 3pm all 5 days. Free food will be offered throughout the week on the pool deck for breakfast and lunch and nightly at Joyland Arcade. Also included are specials at clubs and select restaurants, a free Daytona t-shirt and a souvenir mug. More information about additional events will be added closer to the trip.
Can my friends from other schools come to Daytona?
No. Only current University of Dayton students, graduating seniors and those who graduated in December 2011 may attend.
What types of payment can I use for D2D?
Payments must be made either by VISA or Mastercard. No other options are available.
How are the sleeping arrangements in the hotels?
Guests can be accommodated in 2, 3, 4 or 5 people per room. Check the

section of the website for details.
How much extra money is a good amount to bring?
There is no exact answer for this question; however it would be a good idea to have enough money for at least $20-30/day for food. Anywhere between $100 and $300 will get the average person through the week.
Is D2D an all-ages event?
D2D is open to all Sophmore, Junior and Senior students. We offer many events for all to enjoy such as pool parties, concerts, contests, Orlando excursions to visit Disney and Universal Studios theme parks, night out at a Daytona Cubs game and the majority of the clubs in Daytona allow in anyone that is 18+ but you must be 21 to drink.

If I am a senior graduating in December, may I still attend the trip in May?
Yes, seniors who graduated in December 2011 are allowed to attend the trip.
I'm flying into Orlando, how do I get to my hotel?
Call DOTS! 1-800-231-1965 x 2, between the hours of 9:30am and 5:00pm, Monday - Friday to reserve a shuttle from the Orlando airport to your hotel in Daytona Beach. Make sure to mention "Dayton to Daytona" to get the special rate of $30 one-way, or $60 round trip! (Must be booked and paid for in advance)
